Can I use a dental flipper as a permanent cosmetic solution? ?
My canines are still baby teeth and the adult teeth pushed out above the gum line, above the baby teeth. I can’t afford braces to pull the adult teeth down. Would a dentist pull out all four canines for me and give me flippers? I’ve heard of people using them temporarily for extended periods of time until they gather the money for bridges; would it be possible to completely rely on the flippers and just get them replaced if/when necessary? I know eating with flippers isn’t good, but since my baby teeth aren’t particularly stable as it is, I’ve sort of learned not to chew with them at all.
Is this possible?
Flippers are only temporary.
the reason being is that they are so fragile that they tend to break very easily. and its no like they are super cheap or anything. and you CAN NOT eat with them in.
my suggestion would be to find an Orthodontist office that does payment plans for braces. in the long run it will be a much better investment. Remember! nothing is better than natural teeth, so take care of them as much as possible. don’t get them pulled out…you don’t want to spend the rest of your life paying for things that could possibly break or get lost.
